Stanley Greene

Stanley Greene, born in the USA in 1949, is known worldwide for his photographs and has received the award of the World Press Photo Foundation five times. He was war correspondent in Africa, the former Soviet Union, Central America and the Middle East. He is most popular for his reports from the war in Chechnya. Greene was awarded the Eugene Smith Humanistic Stipendium and many other prizes. He lives and works in Paris and New York.
