Mareile Flitsch

Mareile Flisch, born in 1960 in Münster, studied Ethnology and Sinology in Germany, France and China. She received her doctoral degree in 1990 and the professorship in 2001. She has been a professor at the University of Zurich’s Ethnographic Institute and Director of the Ethnographic Museum at the University of Zurich since 2008.
