Marlies Pekarek

Marlies Pekarek-Wildbolz was born in Bern in 1957. From 1987 to 1990 she took a course of studies of visual arts at the F+F School for Art and Media Design in Zurich, and from 1992 to 1994 she studied visual arts (Master of Arts) at Southern Cross University, in Lismore, Australia. In the previous years she stayed for longer periods of time in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. The spectrum of her artistic work ranges from painting and drawing to Mixed Media, installations, sculptures, and multiples. She has been living and working since 1996 in St. Gallen as a freelancer and teacher.
